Consisting of 32 pre-recorded videos, shot on the island of Ibiza with the latest 4K-camera technology, participants have the option to go through the course at their own pace or join the 6-week programme, which includes group masterclasses, Q&As, a guided dance practise and peer-to-peer learning. The top tier level includes 1-1 mentoring and feedback on mixes. Each video also has its own suggested practice sessions, which help students integrate and embody the teachings for a deeper level of learning and a higher chance of success.
The course is written and presented by Iszabel – resident DJ at Ecstatic Dance UK and Ecstatic Dance Ibiza Tribe, Movement Medicine Teacher and Sound Therapist. Before moving into health and wellbeing, Iszabel had a successful 20-year career in the global electronic music scene, promoting specialist music events and working as a Producer at BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra.
Iszabel brings together her years of experience in the music industry along with her role as space holder and healer into the production of ‘DJ Mystery to Mastery’ explaining the intricacies of equipment, kit and the craft of DJing in a humble, comprehensible and graceful way. Her knowledgeable yet accessible approach appeals to a diverse audience, which includes women and men, health practitioners and bedroom DJs.
